Are those german posters? What does it say in them?
Anyway, I loved that movie. I also hope I'll get to read the book one of these days. John Cusak is one of my favourite actors since "Say Nothing". __________________

LOVED this movie! Saw it in the theater and laughed my ass off - John Cusack is a demi-god (okay, maybe not, but he's pretty fabulous).
I loved it so much I had to buy a copy of the film (VHS - I should upgrade to DVD). Interestingly - I find that this is one of the few romantic movies guys get into. I mean, if I ask my male friends to name one of their favorite John Cusack movies, they inevitably name this one. I find that fascinating, since most men tend to shy away from romantic comedies (which this is - sort of). So, it's a guy's kind of romantic film. That's cool. __________________

Admittedly enough, out of the films he's done that I've seen, I thought that HF would be the one that I'd least like and least watch (I bought the DVD before actually seeing the film). Proven wrong b/c I couldn't get enough out of this movie.
The soundtrack just kicked ass. Cusack played his role to a T. And Jack Black, w/ what supporting role he had in this film, was just hilarious! I read the book and the film was pretty much like the book, which I recommend reading. And because of this film, I had gotten inspired to mostly keep track of trivial Top Five lists. I have to buy the DVD. I dunno why I haven't picked it up because it is truely one of my all time faves. The book rocked too.
One of the best scenes is when the guy comes in looking for I just called to say I love you and Jack Black goes "There's no way she likes that song. Unless she's in a coma...Oh. Is she in a coma? __________________

I'm actually reading the book at the moment and I'm head over heals in love with the movie. I've seen it at least 3 times in the cinema and uncountable times on video and I still love it. It's an amazing movie with amazing actors!

I ridiculously love John Cusack and this movie. Also I think it's funny to read the book and look at the story lines they had to change and cut, like Marie DeSalle being black instead of American (for obvious reasons). Even though, some of them made it to the editing room, but just got cut out, like the bit about the record collection for sale. Great great movie. And Jack Black and Todd Louiso were absolutely perfect for those parts.

High Fidelity is such a fantastic movie! Jack Black & John Cusack were both so perfectly cast. I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't love this movie.

I've lost track of how many times I've seen this movie. It has John Cusack, Jack Black, and awesome rock music! Can't go wrong with that.

I LOVED this movie as well as the book. It was hysterical.
John Cusack was entertaining and the face-the-camera format was also working but Jack Black was exceptionally awesome. While I don't think he's ever NOT good, but Jack's character (uhh, who the hell is it?) was the one who always makes me laugh. Great movie. |
