Chris Columbus did a great job bringing Stuart Craig onto the first film to design the sets. The creation of the Wizarding World is one of the standout aspects of it being adapted to the screen.

I'm not sure 'expanding' the universe will be a good thing

It didn't work out so well for Star Wars when George Lucas sold the rights and suddenly you have hundreds of SW projects lined up about characters you don't really know or care for.

They killed off all the Skywalkers by the end of the sequel trilogy of Star Wars, and the Harry Potter trio's story is done, so where would they go with it?

The Hogwarts Legacy video game sounds okay but it's been delayed until 2022, and its a prequel exploring Hogwarts in the nineteenth century.

Eventually, the studio will probably reboot Harry Potter just like everything else. I think that would be a shame; it's one of the only film series where I think the cast are pretty much irreplaceable (especially many of the adults).

yeah I was talking about a possible reboot/remake with a big HP fan last year and she and I both agree that we don’t want it

While I think they did nail the casting for the movie series, but I wasn't a big fan of how they handled adapting the books after Chamber of Secrets.

Would prefer a TV series or even an animated series over another set of movies though

This is why it's sometimes a better idea to make a book series into a TV show. Allows for bigger expansion without the writer having to waste time editing out a lot of stuff that fans will inevitably miss.

Amazon Prime in my country just inclued the movies in the membership

Don`t know for how long but I so watch those movies again even for the fact that I own them all on DVD.
