I liked Black Panther
I’m definitely in the camp that thinks Thor 1 is underrated |

Just finished watching the new movie about half an hour ago
Definitely an emotional roller coaster I didn’t cry but got emotional Mostly I was thinking about the horrors of animal testing watching this movie So fair warning if you’re triggered by that Because I was Wish I had more of a warning going into this Last edited by atwoodsmariano; 05-06-2023 at 07:00 PM |

I saw it yesterday and I loved the film! I personally think it's the second best MCU film post Endgame (and after Spiderman: No Way Home) I felt so bad for Rocket in the flashback scenes, but I was prepared since it was teased in the trailer and they said we would get his backstory. I think it was great closure to The Guardians and I'm glad it was left open and they could return or reunite one day.

Yeah I mean I was too
But I wasn’t prepared to watch quite the level of animal cruelty they showed if I did have a bit more of a warning beforehand I would’ve gone into this without the level of brutality kind of catching me off guard and
Spoiler:
it felt like Bambi in that way except this doesn’t happen offscreen Definitely would not recommend this for younger kids who probably would find it traumatizing especially if they love animals like me I actually find Mufasa’s death easier to watch than what happens in this movie and that’s saying a lot Don’t think I will be able to re-watch that scene in particular especially again Last edited by atwoodsmariano; 05-08-2023 at 12:05 AM |

Yeah, I know what you mean. The one that made me feel really bad was when Rocket's skull was shaved and he said "hurts..." That broke my heart. I don't get how anyone can torture animals, I'm glad Rocket turned The High Evolutionary's face into meatloaf. Screw him!

I saw it tonight. Loved it. Cried a few times. The Rocket and animal stuff was sad and tough to watch.
I did think the run time didn’t need to be as long as it was but a nice wrap up to the trilogy. __________________
