To what extent does 'The Disaster Artist challenge the paracinematic status of 'The Room'?

Oh hai, guys!

I'm currently writing an individual research report assignment as part of my degree and am investigating the fabulous Tommy Wiseau masterpiece 'The Room'. If you know of 'The Room', but also if not you have probably heard of 'The Disaster Artist' - James Franco, 2017, is literally a re-telling of how 'The Room' came to be - I am interested in finding out whether 'The Disaster Artist' has had any effect on the cult film standing that 'The Room' has resided in since being appreciated as 'so bad it's good'.

Any and all opinions / responses welcome! Thanks

And all of that talent is wasted. There is something about showbiz that brings out people's inner demons.

How would you guys feel about having a "Watch Thread" where we can try to plan group watches/re-watches of movies?

We can post topic questions and such?

Thanks Gwen! I love re-watches as I always watch at least one movie a day/evening, sometimes two.

Me too It was a great idea to create a thread for re-watches, sharing that experience and reliving what was great and not so great about the films. Plus, I love the comprehensive questions you listed for us to answer

I still think TOY STORY 4 is such a forced concept. If it's stuck in the writers' room, then maybe that's because it was supposed to be a TRILOGY.

I'm not a big watcher of animated style films.

I'm planning to watch something this evening, so we can PM about it if you want and watch something together?

My planned movie to watch was "Connie and Carla"

Has anyone heard of the new film, starring Toni Collette, "Hereditary"?

It looks really good!

You mean "3 Billboards Outside Ebbin Missouri"?

I thought it was a fantastic film and Frances and Sam's Oscar wins for their roles were well deserved!

The shocking part of the film for me:
