Very sad, but also bittersweet, because the last experience he probably ever had with a human was with the love of his life.

and Kim loves him so much that she continues to tell their story to her generations of grandchildren.

Oh I love it when Burton shows at the end that Edward's still active and sculpting those figures in loving memory of their time together

I think it was needed, because before that, we had the death scene of Jim and the neighborhood thinking that Edward was responsible for him and Kim's brother getting hurt, so it was nice for the audience to see that he wasn't made to hide away and he could still get views of outside and do activities.

I agree. It was a bittersweet ending and the whole he doesn't age thing would have been weird after awhile!

Yep. I like that he's immortalized on paper, in Kim's storybook, as much as he is in person.

I can't help but feel that Johnny Depp's face must have felt really sore and itchy after this movie

All that make-up must have been uncomfortable

He's always been one of those actors who will try anything and everything

I remember how happy he was to get the role of Edward and Tim Burton always talked about how much Johnny fueled of his own traits into the character, having come fresh off 21 Jump Street and hating being viewed as some pin-up guy

I remember seeing a blurb type video on the making of Sleepy Hollow and how he let Tim throw fake blood in his face.
