Loved this movie so, so much. I always get angry on behalf of Edward when the cruel townspeople turn against him

Johnny even had a Winona tattoo that he had altered.

One of my favourites, I'm a huge JD fan and love any and everything of his!

I agree as well Gwen, the scenes with the townspeople turning on him is so horrific, but also so true to some societies.

Me too, he's my favorite actor next to Christian Bale, a true chameleon of the acting craft and Tim Burton's inspiration for many of his creations.



I loved how Tim Burton mixed fairytale with horror in this movie to show how society casts out somebody just because they look and act strange. Very true to life.

The colors of the houses were so creepily vibrant (pick, for example) and Tim Burton has a flair for using the environment to express tone and social interaction. All the neighbors are your typical people who pretend to welcome somebody new into society but then they cast him out when it threatens their perfect status

I always got the impression that Tim Burton enjoyed using that theme of Stepford interaction. The neighborhood of SLEEPY HOLLOW was eerily similar.
