I have yet to see any of these movies.

I absolutely love the "Dead Souls" cover that Nine Inch Nails did for The Crow soundtrack though.

This movie will always mean something to me. I remember watching this movie in the theater. I remember crying when Brandon died. I also remember walking out of the theater that night and finding a crow feather on the ground. I took that feather home with me.

That is such a touching story

One of my favorite movies of all time, hands down.

Brandon Lee was just remarkable as Eric Draven. Unbelievably charismatic and so tender with the actresses who played Shelly and Sarah

The deep reds in the love scene flashbacks

Haven't rewatched this in ages, but used to love it. Admittedly, I had more appreciation for the dark aesthetics, action and acting than for the story itself (it was an ok take on a cliched sl but not more than that). Still would love to rewatch it again if I find the time.

The love story did seem cliche although it was actually based on the author of the comic's real life romantic tragedy, so it definitely has more depth than many people realize.

Also, I think it's lovely and deeply moving that they dedicated the film to Brandon Lee and his fiancee Eliza

MOD UPDATE This thread, which was formerly for discussion of Alex Proyas' The Crow [1994], has now been expanded to include all and any discussion of films starring Brandon Lee and his father, Bruce Lee.

Shannon (Brandon's sister) gives her view of the depiction of her father Bruce in Tarantino's new movie, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

Brandon's portrayal of dark humor mixed with terror is something that deserves a whole lot more appreciation in The Crow. He had a unique ability to be humorous and threatening all at once. Such compelling viewing

Oh, boy. I assume many of you are aware of the accidental shooting involving Alec Baldwin on the set of his movie? The cinematographer killed and director badly injured.

Not much has changed in 28 years, apparently? Bigger budget on set and still no proper checks of guns before used in scenes? Another life taken needlessly.

They are referencing Brandon's sister Shannen's tweet here:

Brandon's laugh here as Eric is so relatable.

He sounds and looks so exhausted (he is mortal again and has been shot so he's on the verge of a second death) but his humanity really shines through here.

That look of a man who's tired but willing himself to keep going another day, for the sake of his friends if nothing else.

And I love how the face paint is half on/half off. You can tell that Heath Ledger's JOKER look was inspired by Brandon's CROW look. -
