Favorite "comfort" movie

What movie do you always pull out and watch over and over again? Either because you are under the weather or feeling sad or what?

I used to always watch Better off Dead and Girls Just Want to Have Fun when I was off of school. SHowing my age I know!

Haha, I have so SO many.... One of my classic comfort movies is Independence Day. It's my passport to comfy entertainment and I always feel like I'm 15 and everythings perfect.

Another one is You've Got Mail. The movie just exudes comfort, it's lovely, it's light, it's smart. Ahh, it's Tom & Meg. It's like talking to dear old friends.

There's also The Santa Clause. The first one.. It's a world of magic. It's not Christmas is my house until I watch this. It's just not Xmas without it.

Oh my, this coul be me saying the above lol.

I also love "sleepless in seattle" espically as christmas time, puts me in that cosy mood.

Dirty dancing, Indiana Jones, the goonies and Practical magic are good 'snuggle in a duvet' movies

My comfort movie is Girl, Interrupted, I just love that film. The acting is so incredible and it pulls me in and I sometimes feel as if I'm there wit them. Angelina Jolie did an amazing job playing Lisa, I love her for that.

Mine's Foul Play. If I'm tired and it's been a long day, and I just want to watch something that'll make me feel good and help me sleep, that's what I'll put on.

I have many others, but this is first and foremost my favorite wubbie film.

Mine would have to be School of Rock. I just love it! It puts me on a very good and rocking mood after I see it.

Then there's Rushmore, my favorite film of all time.

My Best Friend's Wedding, and various classic movies...Disney ones primarily, or ones I grew up with.

Yes, they really do. I love all the classic Don Knotts' ones......or some classic musicals...those Gene Kelly/Frank Sinatra ones, always put me in a better mood.

That's one I'll put in to cheer up or veg out too when I'm not feeling well also. Well - I'll watch that anytime. Waiting for Guffman falls into that same category.

My favourite comfort movies are You've got mail (I totally agree with you on that, ROCKSTAR! ), Sleepless in Seattle, Kate & Leopold... No, I'm not a Meg Ryan fan, no no... Gosh I love her She just always makes me happy and just to see her smile puts me in a good mood Anyway, other movies I love to watch are One fine day, Miss Congeniality, Save the last dance, While you were sleeping and also Dirty Dancing. I've seen it about a million times but I still love it. Same with all the other movies I just mentioned.

Mulan, The Lion King, and A Knight's Tale. Love classic Disney. And A Knight's Tale is just a cute movie.
