i really liked Sicario, and the sequel looks great in terms of intrigue, suspense, drama, shifting sands of loyalties in the never-ending war on drugs, but to be perfectly honest, my interest was centered around the Emily Blunt character and the effects of the drug war immorality on both sides, on her. she is what kept me invested on the outcome of the film, and i remain highly disappointed that she didn't return for the sequel. while i do plan to see the sequel, it just doesn't have any empathetic pull for me, tbh. thanks for the trailer.
