It did do exceptional at the box office thankfully, but yes comic based films get shafted time & again at these shows. ''The Dark Knight'' is probably a good example as that film wasn't even nominated for ''Best Picture''. Others that were amazing I thought in the past were ''Logan'', ''Wonder Woman'', ''V For Vendetta'', & ''Watchmen''. ''Spider-Man 2'' was terrific as well. You can decide for yourselves if ''Black Panther'' is a better film to see than those ones.

^^ I agree. It's hard to when there are SO many Marvel/DC styled films out there now, and how do they choose which is the better of those to nominate, other than the CGI or sound effects awards.
