Interviewer: Congratulations on getting the role of Cassandra Cain, in the next movie, birds of prey! How did you react when you found out you got the paper?

The hearing process lasted a month and I had to go about 5 times. I saw a lot of movies, I practiced my martial arts skills and I even read some comics about Cassandra Cain to prepare me. When I got the paper, my mom picked me up from school right away and told me in the car with my agent on the phone. I was immediately in shock and I couldn't believe I got it! I worked very hard on this paper and got excited because I wanted to get it I mean I cried totally. I knew from that moment that my life would change forever.

Interviewer: Cassandra Cain is known for being a perfect killing machine. Did you have to do your own tricks/action scenes?

She: I had one of the best doubles in the industry called Marissa Labog. She's a Filipino woman who really helped me shape Cassandra Cain's character. Marissa always made sure she was safe and I really appreciate all her work. This world of acrobatics surprises me! Seeing people hit or kick with ease is not something I see every day.

What is your most memorable experience on the set of birds of prey?

She: we had a scene in which Margot, Jurnee, Rosie, Mary and I had to improvise a lot. All day we laughed, we made jokes and had a lot of fun. Director Cathy yan told us to do a lot of silly things that made us laugh all day. The Set was also close to a shake shack, so in our free time, we only ate burgers, fries and a lot of junk food. That day was super fun and I didn't feel like working.

How was working with Margot Robbie?

She: Margot is a phenomenal mentor and leader. She is the best professional and takes over like a boss. We joked on the set, about what we would be like cardi band we would do silly hands games. Margot did an exciting and fun job. She was a super collaborator. When we rehearsed, she always made sure she was fine and asked me if I wanted to try something different. It was definitely intimidating to work with a class an actress, but at the same time, I was going crazy just to meet Margot.

What is your opinion on the appearance of female superheroes in cinema and Television?

She: Well, I think it should have been a long time ago! Small girls must admire strong women and see that they can also be superheroes. I am so grateful and happy to be part of this movement. It was super cool to see my other roomies kicking butts.
