That is a good 1. My favorite villain is ''Mr. Freeze'' from ''Batman & Robin''. There was overacting, but loved his one liners.

I was going to say Scarface, but that's too obvious, right...?

I'll go with Max from Once Upon a Time in America. James Wood is frigging amazing in it!

Is that an older movie? Haven't seen it.

Currently Jigsaw from Saw - such a sick and twisted mind, yet appealing in a way.

I posted couple of years ago but I forgot I left out some key favorites

Darth Vader: My childhood favorite villain. He was the ultimate bad guy growing up.

Scar: My favorite Disney animated villain. What an evil uncle he was.

Some fairly recent ones include:

Heath Ledger's version of The Joker in The Dark Knight (now my fav. portrayal of the Joker, Jack is a very close second now. He is now number #1 fav. movie villain)

Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds - Christoph Waltz's performance was the best in the movie, he owned the movie.

^Totally agree about Heath Ledger's version of The Joker. He was excellent!!

Also agree about Jack Nicholson in The Shining. So terrifying but he was awesome!

Agree about Jack being brilliant in The Shining. Which reminds me I should re-watch it sometime, it's been awhile.

I love watching it in the dark, it just adds to the terror.

Oh and, because I just re-watched this the other day, Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) and Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter) from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Sweeney's more tragic than evil but he, and most of the other characters too :P, are still villains.

Oh Sweeney Todd! Love the two of them. Then again, when there is a combination of Johnny, Helena and Tim, I am 100% biased.
