I was happy Viola Davis won and some of the TV wins were exciting but I was generally disappointed with the movie awards, esp. by Mahershala Ali not winning, I hope he wins at the SAG awards and the Oscars. I'm happy Moonlight won the best drama category but I hoped they'd win more, they deserve all the awards.
Haven't seen La La Land but is it really that brave to make a muscial with two likeable white leads? Casey Affleck winning just had me roll my eyes, prime example of how a white male actor's career doesn't get derailed because of sexual harassment allegations. __________________

I was glad for 'Moonlight' as well
Meryl Streep emotional speech was a highlight for me Brad Pitt showing up and the audience support - I guess we know what side Hollywood is on __________________
