Anne of Green Gables has to be one of the best movies ever. I loved the sequel Anne of Avonlea, but the original is hard to beat. I love the characters and the plot.

Anyone else love this movie?

oh, me! The Anne series are only some of my favorite books ever, and these are great film adaptions. I have the DVD of the first one, and would love to get the second. Anne 3 was a bit strange, I thought.

anyway, the coincidence is so good, cause I made the coolest icon ever last night!

of course the book is far better, but I have yet to find a movie that I liked better than it's book. I'm sure it's because I love the books that I enjoy the movie so much.

I LOVE Anne of Green Gables! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] I have watched it so many times and I never get tired of it, even with it beign so long. It is such a classic! I have Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea on tape but I'm hoping to get them on DVD soon.

I LOVED the first two movies, the third wasn't nearly as good. They are actually the only movies that I can say I liked more than the books.

That animation is great. That is one of my favorite scenes, along with the one where Anne and Diana jump on Diana's aunt in bed!

Exactly how I feel as well, I own the first two, but not the third. The casting of Anne & Gilbert is so perfect.
