I would have still liked to have had Damon and Elena have sex with her as a human for a first time. It almost feels like something SE will be able to hold over us :(


edit: Meredith wouldn't have anyone elses Vampire blood would she? I just find it odd ..how much did she take from Damon?

Urgh, I actually cried the 2nd time I watched the ep...

Yeah, leaving Damon alone to die was pretty heatless. What actually pisses me off more was the lack of brotherly connection between the brothers in their last moments with each other. Where's that brotherly connection we are supposed to see Julie? Huh?

Question: Maybe I was just too emotionally overwhelmes to remember this but, did Elena know that Damon was supposed to die? I know that Damon had called Stefan on the phone telling him that Klaus was staked. But wasn't Elena in the car with Matt at that point? I always assumed that the reason she said "I will see you soon. You will be fine." is because she has no idea that he may be gone forever. I also thought that's why Damon said goodbye with finality.

Damon needs someone next season! A real emotional connection! No one can replace DA in my heart but I don't want him to be alone!

Damon and Rebekah now please! :flowers: Meredith is a bit too boring so far for me...:shrug:

He's the only one that we ever saw Meredith taking blood from, so it wouldn't make sense to the plot or to anyone watching for it to be anyone else's blood.

I don't think it is such an issue to whom the blood belongs, which makes her turn.
Caroline turned with Damon's blood, and it was not important.
The question is: does Elena want to complete he transition. I think her first impulse is not to complete the transion.
But who will convince her or force her. Stefan of course not, he is all about it is her decision. He could try talk her into it ( eternity of happy love with him )
Damon, I don't think so . because of his own being forced to turn.
I root for Jer, Matt or Caroline. Matt is still alive because of her sarcifice, so he could offer his blood for the turning. Caroline is more: It worked for me . So get over it, just do it.
And Jer: don't leave me alone, you are my last family member.
But I think that it is not so important who convince her or make her turn.

Yeah but it's TVD. Surely Stefan has been giving weekly donations to save the dying children of MF you know?:)

I just read everything and I have some things to say :P
First of all prepare yourselfs because you will get vampire SE sex. You know with both of them touching each other vamp face etc. Just be ready.
Lauren :clap: thank you for your long post. I agree completely but guys you need to realize that Elena won't work to get back Damon. No one on the show including Damon as a character saw what Elena did wrong.
She chose Stefan, they were both dying and she was going to go to the one she chose. Why would Damon be angry at this? :shrug:
The producers don't see things as we do. For example I am angry bc Elena lead Damon on with what happened in Denver only to break his heart again. For the producers Elena was confused, she tried to explore her feelings without making any promises to Damon and a few days later she was honest and clear with him, doing the right thing and letting him go. That's it. I don't have high hopes they will ever get this right TBH. Elena never had any consequences for how she hurt Damon in 314. No character EVER has any consenquesnses in this snow for misjudging Damn or hurt him or whatever. Never. Damon will take some distance since Elena told him that she doesn't want him but it will be like it was in 316 for example. He will just be doing other things, Elena will be doing other things and that is that.
Sorry, but seriously I don't have any reason to believe the writers will ever give us the things we want. Julie and the intire production have admit that they spent hours reading forums, boards etc. They always KNEW exactly what the DE fans have hoped and dreamed and they NEVER deliver. I don't know if that doesn't say anything to you, but it does say sth to me. :no:

Haha! Unfortunately, knowing JP Stefan's blood made it's way into Meredith's stash somehow and that's the blood Meredith used to save Elena. But, in another sense it seems that even Meredith realizes the love between Damon and Elena, so maybe she gave Elena Damon's blood because she knew the meaning behind it? My DE shipper heart wants to hope that it's the latter that happened.

I need too try and let go of the anger a little bit. I FEEL it..like A LOT. But I fear it will eat me up for the next 4 months :(

I really just feel like I am in one of the first stages of loss, which is denial. I mean..surely this couldn't of really happend. No one saw this coming. Not even the SE fans!

I will be fine as long as they don't ruin Damon for me. I saw some posts a few days ago and I know that we all have varied opinions on things and thats fine but in my personal opinion I do not want Damon to revert to his old self where he recklessly kills people. This doesn't mean I want him being love sick and running after Elena ( Which in my opinion I don't feel he has ever been THAT bad about), he's always just accepted that things are how they are, with the occasional glitch.

It sickens me that Elena forced him into feeling all these emotions and then tore out his heart trampled all over it. She had the cheek to ask why he doesn't let people see the good in him, well why should he? What has he ever gotten in return? Nothing but blame. Even when things weren't his fault he was being blamed. Like Caroline trying to pin the fact that Tyler was linked to Klaus bloodline on Damon.
Next season, I need all of them to depend on him big style. Preferably Elena needs to go loopy and Damon will be the only one that can control her...:)

Julie Plec has said this in the interview she gave in writers panel a couple of months ago. I think she said it in another interview also

I think I understand her decision. The decision itself doesn't bother me that much. I actually think she made a very rational decision, because unlike us, she still sees Stefan as reliable and honest ---> safe choice. We know she loves Damon, but she's not strong enough to deal with these feelings, it was probably too much at that situation with all the drama. She probably needed more time and when she was forced to choose, she said how she felt. She looked devastated and all. My problem was the way she said it. She could have used different words, being less brutal when she knew he could be possibly dead in an hour. Also leaving him there dying alone is still just unaccaptable for me. But as for the choice, I kind of see that she's lost so many people and she seeks safety for now. Still after everything she could've been there for Damon.... even if it was as a friend.

So for now, all I care about is Damon getting some decent story and being more than somebody's punchin' bag and distraction. :P

Stefan chose revenge and hate over his love for Elena.
He has a pretty dark and menacing side to him too. Both of them are going to have to face up to that too. I hope the fact that that wasn't dealt with AT ALL this season means that it will be a recurring issue next season.
