Katherine is just pretending to love everyone btw, I never thought Mason would be stupid enough to fall in love with her too :lol:

Btw, I would love more Caroline/Mason action => unpredictable!! Kill or be killed/Kiss or be kissed! Please for once, make a new couple I can ship :lol:

I kind of like it. She's hot and I can totally see why they would hook up for some steamy moments. And it's a lust interest, not a love interest.
Furthermore, it might Elena realise what's she is missing and I wouldn't like Damon to hang around Elena ALL the time, like a lovestruck puppy.

At this point she doesn't even want to be friends with him and it looks they will be or never end up together (although we DE-ers firmly believe in that!). So he is single and there is no reason why Damon would not occasionally hook up with someone till Elena comes to her senses. The guy has its needs! :D
