Thank you for the thread.
I just finished binge watching the season to date. I enjoyed it more than season seven. I've been completely TVD spoiler free and  free for the season. So are there two episodes left?It has been enjoyable to see the return of "dead" characters. Kai does steal every scene.  I loved Damon reading "Fifty Shades of Gray" at the beginning of the season...this gave me a good chuckle. |

Yup just 2 eps left 15 & 16 & then that's it. I've heard others say the same that this season is better than S7. Maybe if they had written S7 more like this one they wouldn't have gotten canceled.
The latest teaser for the finale: Not gonna lie Damon seeing Elena again gave me all the feels. |

I don't think it's Katherine, if it's her....she's REALLY good for 'to be Elena'....look at her eyes full of joy, the dress and the 'Damon tone'....

I think it's Elena. That person looks happy to see Damon. Katherine has never done that.
