So many things factor into how a moderator is selected, and I do believe whether the person has had previous modding experience or not plays a big part too so sometimes you get a person selected over you who hasn't been in the board as long and who hasn't been posting and contributing as much as a result... When Weena left and I applied for moderatorship at Ian's board for the first time I was passed over too...

Yeah they always go into secluded creepy places on their own to check it out, like WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

And then when something weird is coming towards them or a noise is coming nearer and nearer & they can't figure out what it is but they KNOW something bad is going on, they just stand there staring at till the last minute... Liike, run you idiot what are you gaping at?!

I have a basement too but I sure as hell will never go down there if I hear something. My house is really old so sometimes you hear screeching, and i'm always scared to death but do you think i'll go check out where the noise comes from? ofcourse not, i'm not a moron!

I don't think it's enough if you go there once in a while. If you apply to a board, you gotta be dedicated to it. A mod has a lot of responsibility imo. So when you become mod it's not enough if you post there once in a while. Obviously i'm not a mod but that's just how I see it

I sometimes check out weird noises or shadows becuase I want to prove to myself Im not scared. Same reason I watch horror films
