They just have to work around Sophie's Game of Thrones schedule for reshoots.

They'll get cramped if you do that for too long.

R.I.P. Stan Lee
Back in the civil rights era of the 60's, the idea of a superhero team that was prejudiced against because they were mutants was revolutionary, and Stan Lee's writing really spoke to the readers of the X-Men, making them relateable and an acecdote of the era. And not only the X-Men, but all the other classic Marvel characters. At 95, he truly lived a long life and I'm thankful that he lived long enough to see his creations, including the X-Men, become the movie sensations and pop culture icons that they deserve to be. R.I.P. So thankful that I was able to meet him back in 2012 at the Calgary Comic Expo. __________________

His wife died about a year back. People often die after their spouse dies. I expected this was coming. At 95 he lived a full life. He certainly contributed a lot with his imagination and creativity. He's a very significant figure in 20th century culture. Some of his best work was his run on the Fantasic Four with Jack Kirby, which lasted from the early '60s until 1970.

Another of his best works is the Silver Surfer comic he did with John Buscema in the end of the '60s and beginning of the '70s.

Thank you for all of the lovely comments about the great Stan Lee.
Did Jack Kirby do the artwork for that Silver Surfer, sum1? Well, to be honest, Stan Lee did admit that the reason for creating mutants had more to do with the fact that it became increasingly difficult to keep coming up with new and original origin stories and reasons for people acquiring their powers, so just having some characters born superhuman made things a lot easier. The civil rights stuff was in addition to that. But I've always felt that mutants weren't a really good analogy for civil rights, since most of their powers were weaponized and far more dangerous than a person with a rifle. It's a bit of a conundrum. __________________
