The pilot will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

I don't consider Bryan Singer the ultimate X-Men director the way some people do. Apart from Days of Future Past, all the X-Men movies he directed were pretty disappointing.

He didn't direct X-Men: The Last Stand. That was Brett Ratner. I wouldn't consider Bryan Singer the ultimate X-Men director either, but I did enjoy his movies.

He's been the best director of the X-Men movies from what we've been given :gone: unless he didn't do FC - than best director goes to that director

Matthew Vaughn directed X-Men: First Class and I'd like him to direct another X-Men movie in the future. I can't say yet who's the best director. This franchise needs new blood IMO.

Yeah Singer didn't direct First Class. As I said, his movies have mostly been disappointing. I'd even say that about his non-X-Men movies, such as the overrated Usual Suspects.
