They are very close. Both Hugh and Halle have said in interviews that they are close friends.

I've seen the video of them dancing, but at the moment, I don't remember where.

Halle Berry is friends with Hugh's wife too. The three of them hang out together, and in interviews, Halle and Hugh have both mentioned that Hugh's son, Oscar, has a huge crush on Halle. They mentioned that Halle was Oscar's "girlfriend" for a few years, particularly when he was around 6-years-old.
