Yeah, this upcoming sequel will be the last Wolverine movie so it has to be good. :sigh:

crash landing 09-02-2016 03:47 AM

NEed to see this more ;) only a few times but name it least fave

sum1 11-18-2017 08:21 AM

It was based on the Chris Claremont/Frank Miller early '80s miniseries and it bolloxed the story up but good. Yukio was good in it, though.

This by far ranks as my least favorite of all X-Men movies :look:

sum1 11-16-2019 01:59 PM

It wasn't very good. But Yukio was good.

I think this is better than X Men 3 and Wolverine: Origins. I also thought Wolverine had a lot of chemistry with that one girl he kissed and slept with (can't remember her name lol) Way more than the forced pairing with Jean zzz. I also loved that girl that said she was his bodyguard. One of the best things about the movie was the post credit scene showing Xavier alive, it made me excited for the future X Men films at the time.

crash landing 11-16-2019 03:27 PM

I have this tied with X3 as worst  Wolverine Origins is just above these 2

Wasn't much of a fan of this one :goof: maybe after a re-watch [its been awhile] might think differently

- :lmao: The bathing

- Oh believe they can talk his immortal away, believed his healing powers can be passed to another :goof:

- He's not healing

- On top of the "bullet train" :thud: some intense scenes  and of course she was unaware

- He tried to die? :goof:

- I liked Logan with the granddaughter of the one he saved back when Americans nuclear bombed Japan after Pearl Harbor :bubble:

- Wasn't really a fan of the villain  Viper

- Red head is a hell of a fighter :thud: plus she's fun

- :wiggle: True villain ended up being the man that Logan had saved  just remembered that

- Logan losing his claws :thud: that must have hurt :thud: Well he's got his original ones back

- His granddaughter ended up killing him :thud:

Movie isn't bad but think its just above The Last Stand as my least favorite thus far

Forgot that the end-credit was Erik/Charles coming to Logan

Butterfly85 11-08-2021 06:48 PM

I still like this more than Origins (Which is the worst right next to The Last Stand IMO) I also liked Wolverine's romance with that one girl, I thought they had a lot of chemistry. It's a shame she never came back for any more movies, same for that girl that kept saying she was Wolverine's bodyguard. When I first saw the movie, I was so happy to see Xavier alive in the post credit scene and the tease for the Sentinels. Great setup for Days of Future Past.

crash landing 11-08-2021 06:57 PM

It was a perfect set-up :bubble: that's one thing I do like about MCU is their end-scene setups most of the time :wiggle: feels like this was the only X-Men movie with an end scene

Though was Erik freeing Emma an end-scene :goof: just watched the movie but can't remember

Butterfly85 11-08-2021 07:53 PM

I agree, I love the MCU's post credit scenes (and love them in general) I always love that tease for what's coming next. I think the X Men films had more after credit scenes than we thought. From what I remember, I think The Last Stand, Wolverine Origins, First Class, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse had them. I think both Deadpool movies had mid credit scenes. They obviously started doing them for the later movies.

crash landing 11-09-2021 07:19 AM

Oh right  I now remember The Last Stand related to Moira

Oh right Origins did, related to William walking

DoFP am finishing this morning :bubble: so will see about it

Damn, Frank Miller really likes these type of guys, doesn't he? Batman, Daredevil, and Wolverine.

crash landing 11-10-2021 05:34 AM

Nothing wrong with Batman and Wolverine  didn't mind the Netflix Daredevil
