I just hope that Scott gets more to do in Dark Phoenix along with Jean. It's gonna be a two parter, so I'm hopeful.
 Marvel has said that young Cyclops is the character that will remain in the comics, and the older one is remaining dead.  Typical Marvel. That means everything that happened with classic Cyclops might as well have never happened.__________________

Their rotten treatment of mutant characters is likely to contnue as long as Fox has the rights to the X-Men.

It'll be kind of truncated if Dark Phoenix follows the comics and kills off Jean. When that happened, back in 1980, it was one of the most shocking things in the comics. Five years later they retconned it and Jean came back. It became a running joke that Jean kept dying and returning to life in the comics, but in the 21st century they killed the original Jean and later replaced her with a younger one from an alternate reality.
