Bet they're not going to cast a Jewish actor as Ben Grimm. It's wrong to steal roles from minorities. Jewish characters should be cast with Jewish actors. Magneto, Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat, Moon Knight, Ben Grimm, etc. It's about respect. You don't cast a white woman as Storm, do you?

Thanks, for the info, dragonfire.

Well, they cast a white woman as the Ancient One, sum1. Remember? And that was pure idiocy. When asked why the change was made, Kevin Fegie said, "It didn't matter," which was stupid and he later recanted and apologized, admitting that it was a mistake. But why did he cast Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One in the first place, instead of an Asian actor? Because Feige and the powers that be at Disney/Marvel were afraid of being accused of "Orientalism." Apparently it's now offensive for a white person to learn any esoteric skill from an Asian person, or anyone who isn't white, whether it's martial arts or magic and mysticism, which is why they thought it would be safer to cast a white character in the role. Apparently Mr. Miyagi and Daniel Larusso are offensive to the left now.

So in their attempt and trying to be politically correct and avoid Orientalism, they ended up doing something politically incorrect, by whitewashing the Ancient One. Oh, and let's not forget the Fantastic Four reboot casting a white woman(Kate Mara) to play Susan Storm, but a black man(Michael B. Jordan) to play her brother, Johnny Storm. Yeah, like that made sense.

This is why I say that left wing thinking is ass-backwards and lacks logic. Sorry, but it just does.

I remember the Ancient One scandal. They cut out his being Tibetan to avoid pissing off China.

Yeah, but they still could've just cast a Chinese actor to play him, then. Or a Korean, or Japanese, etc. There was no reason to cast a white Englishwoman in the role. If they were cowering to China then that's idiotic on their part, and only shows their cowardice. But they were also kowtowing to the woke Twitter crowd who cries about "cultural appropriation" all the time. Now it seems as if The Karate Kid, a story about an Italian-American kid being trained in Karate by an Okinawan master, is seen as "Orientalism." These people don't even like the idea of Bruce Wayne traveling to Asia to train with the Asian masters of martial arts. I swear, these are people who wake up every morning offended and have nothing better to do with their lives.

Thanks for that, dragonfire. I'm expecting The Marvels and Ant-Man 3 to be awful, though.

So? It can't be worse than the average MCU blockbuster.

That's good to know, Rita. I still think these movies could be done better, but whatever.

Thanks, dragonfire. But how... I mean... why...??? Seriously, that's the X-Men the MCU will use? They're not even... live actors.
