The other actress is Anya Taylor-Joy, who will play Magik. Her major breakthrough was in the horror film The Witch, and she was most recently in Split with James McAvoy. Maisie has been cast as Wolfsbane.

They couldn't get a Russian actress and a Scottish actress? Well I suppose that's not inappropriate castng otherwise. Thanks for the info.

Great choice for the movie's cinematographer. So far, I haven't been disappointed with anything announced for New Mutants. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the other upcoming movies.
