I'm glad you like it. Yes. Yeah, it looks, and feels like TAS. Same here.

‘X-Men ’97’ Gets First Nostalgic Look, Fall 2023 Release and Season 2
Nearly 30 years after “X-Men: The Animated Series” debuted, many of the beloved characters are returning for Marvel Studios' upcoming show...
Quote:
The “X-Men ’97” team explained that episodes were beginning to ship, so they showed the Comic-Con crowd an animatic in which the X-Men fight Trask and multiple Sentinels. The X-Men team up to take the robots down, as Wolverine slices a Sentinel in the face and Beast rips out the circuitry to take control of another.

As a bonus for fans of the original animated series, Disney+ is rearranging the episode order as it’s intended to be watched. For example, Jean Grey’s Dark Phoenix Saga was out of order in the original run, which Disney+ will rectify.

Those may be cartoons, but at least they're X-Men I can recognize. Magneto is in his mid to late '80s costume from when he reformed. It appeared on the cover of Uncanny X-Men 200.

Thanks for all of that, dragonfire.

Yep, I agree with sum1. Those cartoons are definitely nostalgic and true to the 90s version.

That was a giant-size quarterly X-Men comic back in the '90s. There have been more recent comic series with that title since then. The original comic came with a lot of hype, but it was sorely overrated.

Thanks, dragonfire! Nice to see Firestar return, even if she was a cartoon character made to be a cross between Spitfire, the Human Torch, and Mary Jane Watson.

She had a mini-series back in the '80s.
