Considering that no OT3 has ever actually been attempted in the entire history of the comics before, I don't see why anyone should be against it in this situation. After all, the whole “Brand New Day" nonsense was conceived by those who felt that Peter and Mary Jane's marriage was a mistake that needed to be retconned, while others believed it to be a betrayal of Peter and Mary Jane's characters. Conversely, there are those who preferred Peter's relationship with Felicia, feeling it had far more depth that the shallow “perfect girl" Gwen Stacy relationship. Even those who prefer Peter with Mary Jane as endgame still enjoy Peter's relationship with Felicia, and the constant back-and-forth between Peter being with Felicia and Peter being with Mary Jane. They may want Peter to always end up with Mary Jane, but at the same time they don't want Felicia to end up with anyone else, believing that her relationship with Peter will always be her strongest and most meaningful. Then there are those who also enjoy the dynamic between Mary Jane and Felicia and want to see it continue, which would normally be awkward and unusual having the current girlfriend and the ex-girlfriend being so chummy with each other. So why not just cut the Gordian Knot and go for the throuple? Thanks, dragonfire. __________________

 I'm sorry. I was in such a rush to get my posting rounds done I was skimming through the posts.  That, and as sum1 knows, the comics has been doing some really unnecessary things with Scott lately, so when I saw the word "messiah" and I saw the name "Summers" I thought, "what are they doing?" Sorry for the mistake. But you do have to admit that Feige's influence has really been doing some bizarre stuff lately. Hope, the messiah? Didn't we already do this in Avengers v X-Men? First of all, her first name is just way too obvious and derivative. Second, Rachel Summers must be pissed. __________________
