Also the fact that they were both southern

For lost fans I always envisoned Josh Holloway as Gambit. He's older but he had the southern accent, the badboy charm, Sawyer was basically Gambit which is why I loved Sawyer too!

^ Oh yes, Josh Holloway fits Gambit's description perfectly. He does have that natural long hair that he rocks so well too

Thanks for the pic. wow 90's throwback. They were one hot looking couple in the cartoons

Never seen LOST but I know who Josh is and he does hit Gambit

Yeah I think Josh was approached at some point but he probably wouldn't want to, because its too similar

The Gambit/Rogue romance has always been one of my favourite aspects of the comics and cartoons, especially given that, due to Rogue's mutant power, they could never touch. Also because they both have Southern accents.

Hopefully the movies will introduce a plotline between them.

I'm still hopeful that Gambit/Rogue will happen in the movies. They kind of left Gambit open-ended in Origins so we have no idea where he is right now.
