Thanks for all of that, LightYears! Wow, Ryan is finally getting his due! And to think that his original portrayal of Deadpool in X-Men: Origins was so panned, and now he's getting acclaim for it because someone finally decided to get the character right. See what I mean about sticking to the comics, Sarah?

And I'm so glad that Deadpool got nominated at the Golden Globes for Best Comedy or Musical!

That X-Men: Origins: Wolverine film was sooo bad. It was worse than Last Stand.

Had my problems with it but its not the worst in my mind The Last Stand has that title as the worst - or The Wolverine

I haven't seen The Wolverine, so I can't comment.

I think it's a toss up between Origins and Last Stand for worst film, but it does say something that they retconned Origins completely out of existence, like the movie never even happened. Which is good, because then they could bring back Ryan to do Deadpool the right way.

Days of Future Past retconned all original three X-Men movies out of existence, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, but I think X-Men Origins: Wolverine got retconned even before Days of Future Past. They did First Class and DOFP like Origins never even happened.

Sum because of DoFP, I can consider the movies with James/Michael as canon, also will put Deadpool into the canon - I see original trilogy plus both Wolverine movies as erased and non-existence. Assuming Logan will be counted within

This is true. But as far as I'm concerned, the X-Men movie continuity is now the First Class through Apocalypse movies, and the first four don't exist. I include Deadpool in the new continuity.

I can't wait to see how Deadpool does at the Golden Globes!
