Enjoying my cup of papaya/mate tea.

I was given organic ceremonial grade matcha green tea powder. It was to be like a energy boost. Taste like dirt  I mean I don't eat dirt but it's what I imagine dirt tastes like. the matcha I had before was obviously not as pure this stuff :goof:

No, indeed, real matcha tea is pretty mineral in taste. And it's pure green tea, so, yeah, hello to the caffeine!

You're welcome for the new one and glad you like the OP! :)

I have just had some plain regular lemon iced tea the past couple days.

 I forgot to say it also looks like swamp water :goof: Its working though, a cup of that in morning after I've had all my meds and I can tell a difference in my energy.

apparently yo can bake with the stuff too, so we're gonna experiment with some sugar cookies to see what happens.

I love matcha. u can bake, latte, smoothie.

sunnykerr 07-03-2018 04:32 PM

Yeah, all kinds of sweets and baked stuff made with matcha. Some I like, some I don't.

I've not tried matcha unless it's been in my tea, but the baking sounds exciting!

Let us know how it turns out Kali!

You can buy matcha baked goods in a lot of supermarkets. Heck, they have matcha KitKats everywhere now.

Sunrise at Midnight 07-05-2018 07:29 AM

The cookies turned out really well, except for the color, ours weren't as green as in the link. I'm definitely going to make them again. I've seen the kitkats but have been leary of trying them, but aftr the cookie expirement, the next time I see them Im getting some

I can't believe how much of diffrence I can tell in my energy just by having a cup of matcha. It's getting easier to drink too, not tasting so earthy now :goof:

sunnykerr 07-09-2018 08:00 AM

Maybe you need to add food dye to make it greener? Wouldn't that be ironic?

But I'm glad you're adjusting to the matcha.

Sunrise at Midnight 07-09-2018 06:45 PM

 right, I wonder how they got theirs so green, mine looked kind of like dying leaf green :goof: you know mostly brown :lmao:

it's getting so much easier to drink, the last two days I've had it with no sweetener and it was easy to get down.

So I've been having tea daily and if's been going good. I have a Pumpkin Beulèè from Teavana I got many years ago ontop of Orange Spoce Oolong. Do I usually switch between the two. I can get at least 8 cups out of one difuser will with tea leaves.

There is a website blendbee.com they have an amazin White Coconit. It's a White Tea.

sunnykerr 07-10-2018 06:00 PM

I'm properly addicted. I'm not sure I could last many days in a row without at least a cup a day.
