My friends that I have in my RL are real supportive of it. They've told me how they regret not waiting and they think it's real cool that I am.

For me it's not so much as a religious thing as it is a personal one. First off I'm just an old school romantic and second there just haven't been many guys or opportunities.

Nice to know I'm not weird

My reason is more psychological. I simply find thought of having sex deeply disgusting. And also financial reasons- going to doctors for regular check ups after it's done would cost me too much. Oh and I'm too scared from that kind of doctors.

My RL friends are all happy and thriving. My closest one is currently going at it like a rabbit at times with her numerous lovers.

So between my friends I'm possibly the only weirdo. Unless my other friend is still a virgin in her 22. And my lesbian friend also might be a virgin in her 23.
But they are abroad (UK and Germany) so I'm not 100% sure

Okay so this thing I have to go in all 3 threads (Comfy Couch, Writers, here) but I'm posting it here.

As a writer we sometimes have to go into the dark and scary places.

I'm writing a fanfic which requires a lot of detail about sex but it's not so much as the sex as it is that I simply want to get the detail right and act as if I know what the f' I'm talking about.

Still being a virgin there's no possible way for me to rely on experience so I'm left to finding stuff out on my own.

For me though I find it a curiosity from a science standpoint more so than a sex/porn kind of thing. Having gone to a high school that focused on medicine that's where my fascination and interest comes from.

Ron: Use your imagination If you read a lot you can get it from the novels if there are sex scenes in them. I dont think you would necessarily have to watch porn to get that which im sure you know.


I'll be 28 this year and im still a virgin. I've been with my boyfriend for a year and he respects me a lot and wants our first time to be perfect.. although i'm sure we'll both be nervous and it'll be alittle awkard but I think it's so sweet of him. He has the experience but I dont mind that.

LOL yeah I'd be too paranoid looking at porn- I have that whole paranoia of "big brother" and who can be looking at what I browse

Medical papers I figure are okay because it's sex related topics but from a non-sexual standpoint.
