Speaking of luck, I had been wondering how I would find toilet paper and paper towels since I usually buy those at a warehouse store and, because of major construction work in the city of Montreal, my usual access to Costco (my mother or brother) won't come anywhere near I live. But my dad came to visit today and he brought me to Costco!

So, today, I bought toilet paper, paper towels, dryer sheets, large freezer bags and sanitary products! :woot:

Yay for Dad, and especially for not having to think of any of the basics soon. :high_five:

Anyone who has a new title, offer it up. :D This one just made sense.

I need to get some frozen dinner foods and fresh meals for my fridge

I love the title, Kim. No worries on that front. :)

I didn't buy anything today.

And it was more than getting the essentials at Costco, it's that (especially for the paper products), they're bulky items. Hard to carry around when you're a pedestrian.

Heck, those are hard to carry in just from the car. I can only imagine how much trouble it is walking. I know you're used to working with it, and around it, but it's tough.

I got groceries. Our deli got new Loaded Baked potatoes salad. Also, groceries.

I got a bagillion cans of tuna because they were on special at such a low price at this one grocery store I go to. So, you know, why not get enough to get me through the year? I also bought chips, tonight's supper and lime-flavoured sparkling water.

:lmao: hey, it may seem crazy, but you can never, ever, have too much tuna. What did you get for your supper?

I have to go back out Sunday, but no more till then. I also got mini Advil. Liquigels, which were huge and I couldn't swallow. These are awesome.

Found some unusual luxury vintage Hermes pieces online. I don't own them.

Yikes, it’s kind of taboo these days to wear real animal skin and fur lately. I’d rather spend 127,000 bucks toward a condo or something  I wonder what woman would risk wearing those in public without getting red paint thrown on them!

Today, I bought lunch (a club sandwich) and a ceramic plate at a "ceramics cafe" so that I then painted said ceramic plate and they'll fire it and, in two weeks, I'll have my mother's birthday present. :)

Yeah, it is one of the reasons l never bought a beautiful overcoat with a fur collar. It might have been asking for unwanted attention. I only support the wearing of fur if an animal is not specially killed for it's fur.

I love the top 2 jackets, and I would so risk wearing them. I'd have to not think about the animals, but if they weren't killed specifically for it, I'd wear them. I am so wanting the top jacket now. :D

Oh Sunny, that's awesome! What a great gift, and so special knowing you created it. What kind of colors or designs did you do? Right now I really wish you had a way to take pictures.

I have an aunt who died almost 20 years ago now and who left a fur coat behind. It fit me perfectly... but I can't. I mean, it's hypocrisy on my part because I have no issue with leather.

But, with that coat, it did feel like I was wearing the carcass of something that had been alive once. And I just couldn't.

I think I'd feel the same. Even the inside of fur coats are too animal-y for me.

Leather doesn't remind me of animals at all.

Nothing today. I don't think.

I bought yet more tuna cans, a chicken-caesar sandwich, an apple, a lemon, pita bread, hot-dog buns and potato salad.

I got gas for the car and some chocolate bars for tonight’s Halloween programming!
