I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen bits of Henry Fonda's famous monologue in many places and compilations.

Good. Hope you get to see it sometime. I'm watching "All About Eve" hopefully will finish it in the next 100 minutes or so if I stay awake.

No. It was good I thought, but I was watching it quite late. I did finish it. Marilyn Monroe had a small role in it. This was early in her film career about backstage drama between a Broadway star & her understudy I think is the term. The aging star was played by Bette Davis & the one trying to replace her was by Anne Baxter.

I see.

I didn't understand what you said the way you intended.

I'm glad it was good.

Ooh. I did see the 2001 ''Moulin Rouge'' film, but not from 1952. Wonder how similar they are to each other. A copy of ''Attack of the 50 ft. Woman'' was found by a volunteer at my library this week & I was able to check it out today. I'll try to watch it in the upcoming weeks. I was thinking I would have needed to buy it or rent it on Prime Video, but not the case anymore.

Considering how much modern music was in the 2001 version, I can't imagine it's similar at all to the original version of Moulin Rouge.

Maybe the plot is similar, though...

Such a good movie. Of course, it's hardly "Old Hollywood," isn't it?
