An N.B.A. franchise? That would be cool if there is enough support for a team there. Did you see a recent Tim Horton's skit on "22 Minutes" if you watch thst?

Well, it's inevitable, isn't it? If Toronto has its franchise, we want our own, too.
Also, I heard there's 5 players from Montreal in the NBA now apparently? So, you know, people want more than the odd exhibition game. :shrug: Personally, I have yet to get through one basketball game without falling asleep. It's not that it's boring. It's just too fast for me to feel anything watching it. :shrug: |

The Raptors won an N.B.A. Championship in 2019. They have a lot of support thankfully. Unfortunately most of that 2019 roster is gone though. There are I think more Canadian players currently in the N.B.A. than in any prior year.

If there are five from Montreal alone... I mean, we have a lot more ciites and towns, so it makes sense that there would be a lot of Canadian players in the NBA. :nod:
I remember when the Raptors won the title. It's just typical that the roster went away after. That's how it usually goes. Players gain fame in Canada, then go where there's more money. |

the snow was argh. i'm still in a confused state and not ready for it since adjusting our clocks. last friday, i was in total denial as i was heading to work.

I had to go into the office three days in a row today for the first time in... yonks. Like, possibly since 2020.
My whole internal clock is shot. Every day, I kept thinking it was another day of the week. I have had the hardest time concentrating on anything... bleh. I'm relieved tomorrow's a half day. |
