Thanks for the fresh thread.
So I guess the next 2 big announcements will be OS X and the new iPads. OS X Yosemite comes out this 'Fall' so any time now. New iPads are expected in November, just in time for the holidays. __________________

I'm kinda annoyed because I bought my IPhone 5c and the battery power epically sucks but now the IPhone 6 battery power is supposed to last longer.
It sucks. If I play my music on phone, use internet, and texts the battery power goes within 7 hours. I think maybe I use my phone too much though. I do have an Apple Mac. Which I'm still in love with. I use that mainly for work purposes though. __________________

any title ideas for this thread? Eta- now I know why I was feeling iffy about updating, there is apparently a bit of an issues with iOS 8 and the forum runner app...I use the app a lot so I'll have to see how that plays out. Eta2- Flexible Display? New iPhone 6 Prone to Bending, Some Users Find - NBC News I was wondering about that since it's thinner... __________________

I wouldn't want to test the bendiness of a new iPhone, be more worried about breaking the internals than the screen.
With millions of people now using iOS8 its inevitable some are going to have issues, no amount of beta testing can compare to releasing it. 8.0.1 should be out soon to fix known issues. iOS 8.0.1 to Address Bugs With Phone, Keyboard, Videos in Safari, and More - Mac Rumors __________________

I think they are paid to test them.
A good reason to wait for the 6s? Or maybe don't put your smartphone in your tight jeans pocket and sit on it.. Will it bend? iPhone 6 takes a turn for the worse - CNET I'm shocked he had an Android!  I've never been able to keep a phone in my back pocket, I can't stand that feeling but I have tucked mine in my shirt before, when I've have no pockets or purse. And my iPad mini, if I'm not carrying a bag it stays home It's not really surprising, you gotta test the competition's goods and if you find something you like, well, then you keep it. that's what I would do if I could afford it  __________________

I got my 6 plus in the mail yesterday and didn't even take it out of the box. I'm at the mall right now, with an appt at the Apple Store to exchange for the regular 6. I don't think I would even be able to hold the plus with one hand.
 I have the first gen 5 and should get $200 for it as well. __________________

Uh oh Apple quickly pulls iOS 8.0.1 after software causes major issues
About the bigger screen, apparently there are reports that men are complaining about thumb stretch...guys usually have bigger hands so...  I'd know just from that the 6plus would be to big for my hands Besides if you need a phone that big, just get a tablet  unless of course the smaller phones are awkward for people with big hands in that case the bigger one is perfect for them....__________________

Yay, an Apple thread!
 I LOVE my MacBook Pro. Ever since I moved from Microsoft PCs to Apple's laptops, I've been so much happier. They're just so much better. I also share an iPad mini with my mum, but I don't have an iPhone. Yet. __________________

They just showed the bent phones on the news and said it's easily fixable...then they showed the guy from the iHospital and he said its so easy to fix and that a solid case would have prevented it from happening in the first place.
