Coffee Lovers #3: Doesn't matter what the cup looks like as long as there is coffee in it!
 Continue to percolate...I mean talk...  So the title was inspired by the Starbucks controversy. People are upset that the plain red cups are not festive enough for the Holiday season. What is your opinion on this topic? Instead of a cup like this from previous years:  This year, Starbucks released this as their holiday cup:  |

I agree, it's just a cup. You could start a whole discussion about that Christmas orginally isn't even a Christian holiday, and that Starbucks also isn't necessarilky a Christian coffee company (so why would they have there cups in 'Christan design'?), but then again, it's just a cup, and after everything that's happening in the world, it doesn't seem like something I want to waste my time on. (and with this, I was only talking about the nutheads who though the cups weren't Christian enough, of course there also were a whole bunch of people just thinking the cup wasn't festive enough, but that's just a matter of taste...) And I don't think Starbucks coffee is that good. Their cappuccino's are like 99% milk and 1% coffee (that's not what a cappuccino should be  ), and all the rest and their 'special' and such are waaaay to sweet for my taste. Tried the pumpik spiced latte for once because people told me it would be yummy. FIVE EUROS for some milk, a tiny bit of coffee and waaaaay to much syrup. Nope, never again  Just tried out our new espresso machine  __________________

We don't have a Starbucks here where I live.
Can someone please explain to me what "Pumpkin Spice" is and why everyone loves it so much? I know it's something to do with the American Thanksgiving Holiday. |

I dont know the fuss about Starbucks, we dont have one hereat all in Adelaide/South Australia. I just go to Gloria Jeans. BTW my bestie and I are drinking coffee now

I'm not a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I've tried it and didn't like it, I prefer the Peppermint Mocha which is featured along with the PSL at Christmas/Thanksgiving, but it is actually available year round unlike the PSL.
Glad you all like the title! This starbucks controversy is so stupid. People really need to get a life if their complaint is really about a cup...that they will dispose of once empty anyway! |

Mascha I think that's why I like their coffee, not much coffee taste to it  I like Panaras pumpkin spice lattes, never had one from Starbucks... Quote:

I did some Christmas shopping today and had a Skinny Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks. Mmmmmmm.....it was soooooo good!
