This thread is primarily for those who are unlucky in love [img]smilies/sigh.gif[/img] We can talk about heartbreaks, crushes, troubles with your g/f or b/f, unrequited loves, lost loves..etc etc. Anything having to do with relationships and such. However, it's also a nice place to simply talk about what's going on in your life in that moment, most of us have been here for a long time so it's like family [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] I can't even remember the last time I actually talked about love in here [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

Last week I finished a two year relationship with someone. It turned into a long distance thing and we'd kept that going for a year. Me being in New Zealand and her in England. I went back there over Christmas and had a wonderful time. But after I came back things started to go wrong and we moved further apart, we were still close, but not in the way that used to be good before. Anyway, we decided to call it off last week and see what happens if and when we meet up again in a few years and if it's meant to be, then it's meant to be. If not, it's not.
I love her, but now I can't say that I do, because we aren't rogether. So yeah, that pretty much sums me up. [ 03-19-2004: Message edited Ben ] __________________

Okay, well the last time I was here I reported that my ex (the one who gave me herpes) called me earlier on the week. Well, I have some news...my best friend (since the third grade) just called and told me she is pregnant with my ex's cousin!
I don't know what to think right now. I mean, I'm happy for her because I know she'll make one excellent mother but the whole thing is when I found out that I had this S.T.D she promised me that she would take extra precaution and use condoms at ALL times (since neither one of them has been tested before). I guess she went back on her promise. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] __________________

That's a long time and I don't know you from Adam, lol, but that kind of love doesn't fade just because you broke up...you can still care about a person very much even being so far apart. We are still friends and still close. But being single feels so strange. It's like I've been released from something and left to my own devices.
There is that sense of freedom I have now, I like it. It's refreshing. __________________
