In this re-imagined tale of Twilight,
Stephanie Meyer puts to the test the
ultimate question that is a topic of many fan fictions:

The 'What-If' Scenario.

And in this What-If, Meyer asks what if
the roles were reversed.

It is by answering that question, that
the reader is introduced to Beaufort (Beau) Swan,
a human young man who moves from his home in
Phoenix, Arizona to the town of Forks, Washington.

It is in Forks that Beau encounters a mysterious
girl in his science class, Edythe Cullen, along with her
mysterious and very good looking siblings.

But it is Edythe who draws him in completely. He is
nearly hypnotized by her and likewise she is drawn to him,
the two defying all the rules set in place so that they can
be with each other in what hopes to be forever.

I can't wait to get my hands on this book. I wasn't sure if I was going to get it because I got the white collection for christmas and it was like, 'do I really need THREE copies of twilight?' but then I heard about the bonus material and namely what Ron said about it.

Tee, that's a very good question. I guess I would have to say that while it's essentially the same story and they act similar to their AU counterparts- damn I'm not doing a good job at explaining. I'm trying to figure out how to.

It feels like there's a different sort of magic at play. With Beau he has this admiration for Edythe. He even describes it as feeling the need to bow down to a god and yet his reverence is also a deep love. He wants to be a 'man' and yet the book gives it a more feminist POV where it's Edythe not wanting to take away Beau's manhood but at the same time because Beau accepts her for what she is, she feels she can be free and take the lead.

Gah I'm really trying hard to explain. I need to do a better job.

IDK hopefully when you get a chance to read it, you'll understand why I can't really define it.
