 new thread.  and from last thread. I know alot of people see Steven as Jacob, which I can understand he is very good looking, but people need to know that most likely he won't be playing Jacob. but that's why you have your book Jacob and movie Jacob. Idk, I just feel a little protective, just like when everyone was yelling at Rob being Edward. I always feel for the underdog. like I really like Nikki as Rosalie now, even though some have a problem with her.  and Taylor's at that age for another growth spurt. this kid I know. he was kinda short and then like a couple months later, he shot up and got quite tall. and Taylor has such a cute Jacob face. __________________

and you dont need to worry about taylor, not about us anyway. we've made the fact we dont think he's perfect for the part known to each other, but we havent gone and sent him hate mail like some crazy fans did when robert was cast. we just like to know that there are others on this thread that understand that we dont see "twilight jacob" in our heads, so its hard to get used to such a young boy, like taylor as jake. especially for some of the girls here who are in the 20's and higher who feel kinda cradle-snatcher-y for finding "book jake" hot, coz now, "book jake" is being portrayed as taylor, who is a boy, if you know what i mean... so we want steven coz he suits "book jake" in our minda better. very confusing, but i hope it makes sense and gives you some insight into our thinking about steven and taylor.. having said that, i think everyone has come to terms with taylor as twilight jake, and the fact he seems like a lovely boy who is going to a great job as jake  |

I actually like Taylor.
I've found that I need to seperate books and the movies based on them, and treat them as two seperate entities, so I can enjoy both and not be disappointed by the movie. This is what I've done with all the Harry potter movies, and I think it's really going to help when I watch Twilight, as I'm sure things have changed and are different from the book. I always loved Rob though, I gots to support my HP boys! __________________

The truth is that I like many, in my mind, the only image of Jake is Steven ... But it is true that image is from the book. But in twilight film is fine if our favourite actor is not available or not interested in the project or even know of: (; because only resignation and left the comfort of mental imegen we have. And as they say it is better to learn to separate the films from the books not leave disappointed. __________________

That wig is okay. They should cut it shorter. He looks like a girl from the back!
Also what is ridiculous is apparently they are not going to put it in a ponytail. The directors felt people would confuse James and Jake. WTH?! I don't get it either...cause Jake is more important than James (book wise). __________________
