Hm ok I think it's always good to see other peoples POV, as much as I loooovee Edward & Bella I would like to see what there realtionship would have been like, & it was odd cause the second time I re-read Eclipse I cried at the end between Jake & Bella. :look:

I agree. I know that I am in my senior year of high school, and people flip when my friend Lauren is dating a kid in 10th grade. He is 16 and she is 17 about to be 18. He is a really great guy. BUT some people just see the age difference.

I know I get slack of having a crush on a 15 year old. *shrugs shoulders* He knows, I know, all my friends now. But we are great friends so I don't want to put a move on him...

Also... I DO NOT want Jake to imprint. I hate the idea of imprinting actually. But I guess its like the singing blood thing (Edward > Bella).

I've got really mixed feelings about Jacob imprinting on somebody else. I really think that Jacob deserves to be happy but I doubt that Bella will get over her infatuation with Edward.

The age difference ... it often seems like a big deal in high school, but once they're out of their teens, nobody would think twice about it.

Oh man I know exactly what you mean with the high school crap, I'm currently 17 & my boyfriend is 20, but when we began dating I was only 16 & he was 19 so it was a big deal in the begining, but after a while it didn't matter anymore. & I don't think Bella would be concerned at all about Jacobs age because look at her & Edward, now if you wanna talk age difference :lol: :look:

I want him to be happy but I don't think imprinting will take his mind completely away from Bella. That's the thing for me. The fact that he feels this strongly about her, and she about him, won't just go away. Neither if he imprint nor if she become a vampire. The fact that Bella's mind is a mystery makes me think that she just won't forget him.

Imprinting scares me. Seriously. Its like you are basically obsessed with the person. Yeah, that is some scary stuff. Obsession, the world moves for them and them only, etc.

I agree with you. Whether Jacob imprints or Bella turns into a vampire, they will never forget each other. Their bond is too strong...they will always be friends at the very least. Well, friends in love with other. Guh, it's so heartbreaking. :cry:

All this imprinting/singer stuff that werewolves/vampires have is so cruel in my opinion. It gets in the way of someone falling in love naturally. People get hurt in the process...it's just a horrible concept. I know it's meant to be romantic but knowing it's forced and doesn't come from choice makes it seem so fake. I know I wouldn't want that for Jacob at all, even though I have a feeling SM will make him imprint. And now that we know that Bella is Edward's singer, it explains why Bella compared the way Sam looks at Emily with her and Ed, and how she said to Jacob she never had a choice in the matter, it's the way it has to be.

Edward/Bella = Singer love (a.k.a imprinting)
Jacob/Bella = Real, true love
