Favorite Episode
It is hard to pick out my favorite episodes for each season but here goes:
Season 1 - Spooked Season 2 - Ben Was Here Season 3 - The Christening Season 4 - The Storm Love, Jan __________________
Felicity: There was always this.. I can't explain it.. this force between Ben and me, and I guess it had been there from the very beginning.

Season 1 - Felicity Was Here Season 2 - Ben Was Here Season 3 - The Break-Up Kit Season 4 - The Storm (The Graduate comes in a close 2nd) __________________

It always surprises me when I see people listing "The Storm" as one of their favorite episodes...I find that one so hard to watch, it's like a kick in the stomach. For senior year, I'm drawn to "The Graduate" and "A Perfect Match"....for obvious reasons....

I think it showed Ben in a new light w/the love he showed for his father, who totally did not deserve it, and his love for Felicity in that he was so deeply hurt by what she did. I am not expressing this well, but the scene at the basketball court and the scene in the restaurant was so heartbreaking and Ben was so hurt, but he was willing to meet with her anyway.

I agree with Workerbee that while it was hard to watch, it was one of the best acted episodes of the series. It was absolutely hearbreaking. My fav scene is the restaurant scene. It gives me chills thinking about it. I tend to like sad or heartbreaking stuff in general so I really loved it.

Season 1: Todd Mulcahy, Pt. 1 (I don't know why but just cause the whole episode it was pretty comical and then the end which freaked me out the first time I saw it)

Season 1 - "Pilot"
I guess no other episode really could compare to this one. It was basically a movie to me. The way it was shot, it just felt like a movie. I thought it was brilliant. Season 2 - "The Slump" A very sad and powerful episode. Keri's acting in this is brilliant (moreso than usual). I love the scene when she breaks down at dinner with her parents and her scenes with Dr. Pavone. Season 3 - "The Christening" Probably my favorite season opener as well, this episode had it all: hilarious moments, touching moments, and most importantly scenes with everyone. I loved the first 2 eps of season 3 where everyone was in each other's lives. So great. Season 4 - "The Declaration" Another great opener..but such a contrast to Season 3's. This one was sad more along the lines of "The Slump." I really liked how there was a real sense of "doom" in each of the character's lives. Felicity's worry about the future really touched me. |
