Participating theaters would distribute issues of "Pocket Power" a pocket-sized version of "Nintendo Power" magazine.

That would of been cool at the time. I missed it in the theaters.

Same here

The sounds made by Lucas' Power Glove as he punches its keys are the famous five tones from Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977).

Really? Cool. Something I will have to look out for.

I didn't know either.

Melis 07-02-2017 06:34 PM

I never traveled across the country for a video game competition.

Barrybgb 08-26-2017 07:44 AM

I've had this movie for a few years now and still haven't watched it. I plan on changing that soon.

Melis 08-26-2017 12:29 PM

I hope you like it. It's nothing fantastic, but it's just fun.

Nothing wrong with that. Good enough for me.

Melis 08-27-2017 11:38 AM

I think so, too.

I never played video games, and I still like the movie.

Barrybgb 09-03-2017 08:25 AM

I watched this last night. Sure, it was a little bland but I liked it. It was cute and charming and had that unmistakable 80's vibe that gives it that powerful nostalgic touch that makes some movies better for you than they may actually be. I am sure I would of absolutely loved it if I had seen it back then.

Melis 09-03-2017 03:45 PM

I still love it. I never played video games, but that doesn't matter.

Never too late to get in to it!

Melis 09-04-2017 12:47 PM

Wish I had more time to play them.
