According to Wikipedia, Executive Producer James L. Brooks said in 1998 that Michael co-wrote, co-produced and does backing vocals. At the time the song was released, he refuted it by saying a friend of Jackson's wrote it basically because Michael was under contract to another label and couldn't take any credit for it.

Congrats on the show for being renewed for 2 more seasons. I'd still love a complete dvd boxset though they ruled that out.
