Corey Feldman said in a new interview that he wants to return to the franchise as Tommy Jarvis. He's been trying to get a sequel going, even talking with the screenwriter of Part 4. I would love for that to happen.

It would be great, but it would be confusing for new fans because of the remake. Studios may balk at that. Plus, I can't see the studio releasing a big new F13 film starring Corey Feldman. If it were a direct to DVD sequel like the two recent "Lost Boys" films, then yes. As much as I would love for it to happen and be released in theaters, I'm not holding my breath.
