for fans of the band, they would say the band got progressively quieter and more sparse with each release, the band's last 3 albums were not very commercial. the main songwriter and singer only released 1 solo album after the band called it quits, despite the fact the band was pretty much a solo artist using a band name to sell the music. He was in total control of the musical direction

This could be interesting. Now, I love the 90's movie "The Sandlot", and it has just been revealed that the original film's director/writer just sold a TV series based on the movie. It will star the original cast and be set 22 years later in 1984! "The Sandlot" in the 80's!
