I'll add a better OP later, but Barry and I were talking about Alien 3, 4, Promethus and AVp movies. Barry, why weren't you a fan of 3 and 4 so much?

I just didn't care for the whole look and tone of part 3, or the characters. 4 I do like. I think it's better, but not top shelf Alien.

Barry, was it Alien 3 or 4 that used CGI aliens running on the wall. I think it was 3 in the prison. but i'm not sure. I didn't like that so much!

I didn't mind the plot of Alien 3 as much, it was pretty good. Alien 4 (Resurrection) was more questionable.

Well, for fears of spoiling, a main character dies then is brought back and it's just got this quasi jesus motif and it's questionable because....i dont know, it just doesn't work as strongly. it's still a good movie.

I just read the DVD synopsis so it's not a spoiler: Ripley (sigourney weaver) dies at the end of 3 and in 4, they clone her and because she was "pregnant" with a queen alien at the time, they get that, too. I think Winona Ryder is in part 4 also. It's really not bad just a different storyline.

Melis, the 4 pack is 10 bucks at target. BARE MINIMUM you like 1 and 2, so worth it there.

should i talk about all the violence in it from aliens bursting out of people's chests, their blood being acid and eating through people and using their second mouth to gouge holes in people's heads?
