The show ran for five seasons (1984-1989) and 112 episodes. It had numerous guest appearances by people like Bruce Willis, Phil Collins, Willie Nelson, Gene Simmons, Little Richard, James Brown, Sheena Easton, Liam Neeson, Lou Diamond Phillips, Julia Roberts, etc. The list goes on and on.

No, I wouldn't. MV is well known for it's incredible 80's aesthetic. The colors, the wardrobe, the music, the style, the vibe. That wouldn't be there. It would probably be a lot more moody and look more like all the generic shows today.
