Does anyone remember this movie? I love it. It came this weekend and I watched it twice. :)

Here's the synopsis- "Lucas, a nerdy 14-year-old, has skipped two grades and is having a tough time fitting in with his older classmates. The jocks make fun of him, and the girls barely know that he's alive.
During the summer, Lucas's life is brightened by his new neighbor, who quickly becomes his good friend. Unfortunately, to Lucas she's a lot more than that, and when school begins again he realizes, to his dismay, that Maggie no longer belongs to him alone. Worse yet, when Lucas's jock friend, Cappie, stands up for him in a fight, Maggie falls for the handsome athlete. Filled with jealousy, Lucas doesn't even notice that there's another girl who likes him." It stars Corey Haim,Kerri Green, CharlieSheen, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Winona Ryder.

I love the movie. Lucas was a guy you wanted to cheer for. He had such a heart. Loved the ending.

Lucas is one of my favorite movies of all time. I never miss it whenever it`s on. I think the main reason why the movie is so great is because everyone could relate to Lucas.

I loved this movie when I was younger. I had a major crush on Charlie Sheen in this one :blush: I'd definately buy if it comes out on dvd.

Oh yes, I remember this movie...Lucas was played by Corey Heim. This was one of my favorites. I first saw this movie when I was 7, and I watched it again recently and just noticed that the jock was played by Charlie Sheen.

What a sweet "teen movie".

"Lucas" is the classic underdog movie and I have seen it a lot over the years. It is such a great feel good movie and I am so glad I have it on DVD! :sigh:
