Michael Keaton stats in this 1984 comedy from director Amy Heckerling ("Fast Times At Ridgemont High", "European Vacation" and "Clueless"). It's a spoof on the crime/gangster movies of the 30s. Keaton stars as a good, honest man who is forced to turn to a life of crime to pay his mother's medical bills and send his younger brother through law school.

I'm new so I know this is totally random, but OMG I LOVE Johnny Dangerously! I was cracking up just the other day randomly quoting Maroni. "You fargin' sneaky bastage!" Haha!

Maureen Stapleton is hilarious as the mom. The courthouse cleaning lady is awful -- and still cracks me up anyway! lol And the sight gags are subtle but hilarious. I know Airplane gets all the glory, but to me JD is funnier. (No offense to any Airplane fans!)

Sorry -- I was just surfing the threads and happened upon this one. I haven't seen anyone reference JD in ages, let alone just stumble upon fellow fans of it!
