Don Ameche won an Oscar for this role and the pic of him at the Oscars was amusing. He was obviously an older gentleman and he received his Oscar from Cher. This was the year Cher showed up in that outrageous dress with the spiky hair. There is a pic of the two standing together backstage. I wonder what he was thinking? -
